I was asked by ERA Ageless to review some of their skin care products. I received the Starter Kit which includes several sample sizes of their skin care products. Their products are cruelty free and researched for five years. The products help to heal your skin naturally.

ERA Ageless
The Starter Kit

Reveal. Replenish. Rejuvenate.

After using the Repair & Restore Facial Peeling Gel and the Replenishing Elastin & Beta Carotene Mask my skin looked airbrushed it was so smooth! The products have no scent to them and didn't irritate my skin.  The Firm & Lift Eye Serum and Firm & Lift Eye Cream both blended easily into my skin and reduced the fine lines under my eyes. The cream was thick, but not heavy.  The Age Defying Moisture Cream also absorbed quickly into my skin and kept my skin moist and smooth for hours. The Age Defying Facial Serum is light and I could feel my skin being lifted.

Fit and Fabulous in 15 Minutes with T-Tapp

I was asked to review the book Fit and Fabulous in 15 Minutes (Lose 2 Sizes in 4 Weeks) by Teresa Tapp. Teresa Tapp created T-Tapp 25 years ago. I had never heard of T-Tapp until a few weeks ago.  Which is strange because I'm such a fitness junkie.   The book was very through in listing the benefits and results from doing T-Tapp.  The benefits of doing T-Tapp includes improving lymphatic function, elimination and mental clarity. Your body will tighten and tone building lean sculpted muscles. It's low-impact and you don't need any equipment.

I really liked all of the inspirational stories from people who had success with it. The more stories I read, the more anxious I got to get started.  Finally we get to the workout section of the book.  There are step by step descriptions and lots of photos of Teresa doing the exercises.  She also had pictures and descriptions of common mistakes to show you what you are doing wrong.

I tried to follow along with the step by step instructions, but I'm very visual. I like to mirror the person via video,  Some of the exercises are on YouTube.  You can check out some of the exercises here. I did them for a couple of weeks every day.  I had to take a break after two weeks because my body was so sore.  I think if I had the actual T-Tapp DVD I would have lost more inches.  I ended up losing about 4 inches overall.

One of T-Tapp's success many stories Teresa Kim!

Fit and Fabulosu in 15 Minutes also has a diet plan.  Teresa doesn't believe in depriving you of your favorite foods.  Her diet is called God-Made Man-Made.  For a couple of days you eat God-Made foods including meats, vegetables, nuts and fruits.  Then eat man-made foods for a few days. The best way to follow the diet on God-Made days is to eat as clean as possible.  On the Man-Made days you can eat processed foods.  She doesn't want you to go overboard.  Just make smarter decisions.  If you have chips on the Man-Made days, maybe choose baked chips.

At the end of the book there is a FAQ and more testimonials.  I can recommend this book for people who want a low-impact way to tone their body and lose inches. The diet is pretty straight forward and easy to follow.  I will still do T-Tapp a few days a week.  As a matter of fact I was just in Montreal over the weekend. I had croissants for breakfast.  After breakfast I ran back to the hotel room to do Hoe Downs.  If I could only choose one exercise from T-Tapp to do for the rest of my life, it would be Hoe Downs. Why?!  Because Hoe Downs always makes me feel better after eating a lot of carbs. The heart rate goes up and drops glucose levels quickly.  Read more about Hoe Downs here.

My breakfast in Montreal. While eating it I was trying to figure out how soon I could get back to the hotel room to do Hoe Downs!

I Need More Time!

I need more time
This week in Beauty, Fitness and Health has gone by too fast for me! I need more time in the day!  I'm packing for our move to the new house, started Social Media Marketing School, reviewing products and to top it all off, I'm a mom! Just being a mom I'm crazy busy anyway.

This week I reviewed another amazing OZ Naturals product.  The Vitamin C Serum has added a glow to my skin that I didn't think was possible. Check out the review here. Stay tuned for more reviews of OZ Naturals products!

The Derma Roller System giveaway ended. The winner was Christina G. I'm working on some more giveaways for the future! Stay tuned!

My Workouts: This week I did a lot of walking because the weather here in Toronto has been great!  I've also stepped up my workouts. I'm still doing T-Tapp a few days a week along with the Do You Yoga Beginners workouts, but I'm also getting my sweat on.  Here are a couple of my favorites from the week.

Recipe of the week  actually comes from me!  I was asked by the DailyBurn to create a protein shake for the #ShowUsYourShake campaign.  Check out the recipe for Chocolately Goodness here.

Delicious and Healthy Chocolate Vegan Protein Shake

I was asked by the DailyBurn to create and share my favorite protein shake. Usually I just throw some fruit, non-dairy milk and protein powder in a blender and blend after my workout.  I decided to actually think of specific recipe for my after workout protein shake.

Here's my recipe for Chocolately Goodness!
1 tbs of cocoa powder
1 tbs of flax seed
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
1 cup of non-dairy milk ( I used Silk Cashew Milk)
1/2 of avocado
1 frozen banana

Put all of that together and mix in the blender.

I tried to think of a fancy name for it, but the first thing that came to my mind was Chocolately Goodness because it is! The avocado and cashew milk made the shake thick and rich. Flax seeds and avocados are good healthy fats.  Flax seeds are also a great source of omega-3s. Everything I used in the protein shake was vegan.  Go here to find out the benefits of using a vegan protein powder.

Brighter & Smoother Skin! OZ Naturals Vitamin C Serum Review

The lovely people at OZ Naturals sent me another product to review, the OZ Naturals Vitamin C Serum. The benefits from using the Vitamin C Serum are collagen stimulation to help your skin appear more youthful and more vibrant. The Vitamin C stimulates exfoliation for brighter and smoother skin.  The serum also protects your skin from sun damage and pollution.

I have been using the OZ Naturals Vitamin C Serum for about a week now.  It’s very easy to use. First I wash my face and neck with the OZ Naturals Vitamin C Cleanser, then I rinse and pat dry.  Next I apply the serum to my face and neck.  I wait for the serum to dry completely and then follow with a moisturizer and the OZ Naturals Youth Eye Gel.

The first thing I noticed after using it was that may skin was brighter and smoother. After using it for a week I saw less breakouts and dark spots getting lighter.

Right Cheek Before

Right Cheek After

OZ Naturals Vitamin C Serum has an impressive 20% vitamin C. It also contains hyaluronic acid, Vitamin E and Jojoba oil. The ingredients are 72% organic and vegan.  OZ Naturals believes in being cruelty free and their products are made in the USA! This is a fantastic product and can’t believe the results I have received in just one week.  I will continue to use the product daily!

OZ Naturals products can be purchased directly through Amazon.com

This Week in Beauty, Fitness & Health

meditation calming
I love this picture! It's so calming after a busy week!

Hope you all had a great week.  My week was very busy.  The kids were in a play so we had to get up early for rehearsals and stay late for the performances.  The kids were so happy to be able to stay up past their bedtime.  It was an exciting time for them, but now it's over. Back to reality!

This week in Beauty, Fitness and Health I found a mask from Jovanka Ciares that I really want to try.  It kind of reminds me of a hair mask from the Body Shop I used all the time in the 90s.  The main ingredient was bananas. It did wonderful things for my hair. I used to get so many compliments. Here's the video:

I also reviewed the Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion for my other blog The Elements of Review. This product has made me so happy.  Now I don't have to worry about forgetting to moisturize after my shower.  Check out the review here.

This week I reposted one of my most popular posts for Throwback Thursday.  It was from a guest blogger Sandy Getzky.  The post 10 Ways to Make a Workout Fly By gives us tips on how to make working out more enjoyable. Read the post here

Fitness: Mind and Body:

Still doing the T-Tapp workout, but missing my old way of working out, if you can believe it. So next week I think I will step up my workouts again. I lost about 4 inches overall in the past two weeks. If you're curious about T-Tapp you can find out more here.

The Do You Yoga Beginner's workouts are great and showing me that I have terrible balance. Learning a lot from this challenge. You can still sign up here

Completed the Deepak Chopra and Oprah meditation challenge.  I feel more confident in myself after doing it.

Recipe of the Week is from PJ of the Go Fit Gals. It's 3 ingredient pancakes! Just mix together 1/2 banana, 1/4 cup egg whites and a scoop of your favorite protein powder. Next cook like you would a regular pancake and eat! Simple!

Dates to remember:

The review of the OZ Naturals Vitamin C Serum is written and ready to be published, but I'm waiting on the approval from OZ Naturals. I'm sorry, I really wanted to post it on 4/10 like I said I would. Hopefully I will be able to post it early next week.

Derma Roller System Giveaway winner will be announced 4/15/15. Enter the giveaway here!
